By supporting the commercialization of prefabricated housing solutions, we can help mass timber manufacturers enhance production.
We plan to implement two housing projects using the designs and technical data generated by two prototyping projects and a new acoustics testing center.
- Mass Plywood Workforce Housing
Housing is designed for increased demand based on zoning policies revised in the PNW to allow for denser development in single-family zones. - Mass Timber Retrofit
A prefabricated mass timber façade, insulation, and cladding applied to existing buildings for energy and seismic upgrades.
